Weird eBay Listing #16: $47 Fortune Cookie

This funny eBay auction is simply for a leftover fortune cookie. The seller ordered Chinese food and didn't eat (or open) the cookie.

Update (July 15): This one still has three days left. But, right now it's up to $8,575.00. There are 58 bids and 4490 views.

Update (July 21): eBay didn't like this listing and removed it. The seller says it was because there was a link in it to an outside site. That is a no-no according to eBay's terms of service.

But eBay weird stuff preservers! It has been relisted (without the outside link).

It's currently at $472.00 from a starting bid of 10 cents. It has 2157 viewers and 31 bids.

Update (July 27): The second listing of the fortune cookie ended successfully. It had 7,429 viewers and 32 bids. The total was $482.00.

Why, oh why would anyone pay over 400 dollars for a fortune cookie? This makes me ill, there are so many better things that could have been done with that money. Why are people such idiots?
